Setup guide

Open a page in Elementor, search the panel for News Ticker and drag it into a container.
Content › Source: Headlines From, Custom Items, Show Post Thumbnail, Show Post Date, Show Category Tag, Empty Text.
Content › Posts Query: Posts.
Content › JSON Feed: Feed.
Content › Ticker: Animation, Label, Label Icon, Label Position, Marquee Duration (s), Direction, Interval (ms), Pause on Hover and 3 more.
Pick a Animation: Continuous marquee, Slide up, one at a time, Fade, one at a time, Typewriter, Static list (no animation). Each one is shown below.
Style tab sections: Bar, Label, Headlines. Colours, typography and spacing set here are scoped to this widget instance.
Publish. Every option is a standard Elementor control, so it responds to the editor, dynamic tags and global styles as usual.

Posts is a live query (source: posts). A "Posts" panel with filters, ordering and count is generated for it; results come from this site's data on every page load.

Feed is a live query (source: remote). A "Feed" panel with filters, ordering and count is generated for it; results come from this site's data on every page load. Remote presets need an API key on EMCP Tools, Connection tab, Live data providers.

Conditional options: Custom Items appears when Headlines From is custom; Show Post Thumbnail appears when Headlines From is posts; Show Post Date appears when Headlines From is posts; Show Category Tag appears when Headlines From is posts; Marquee Duration (s) appears when Animation is marquee; Direction appears when Animation is marquee.

Ships with its own JavaScript; it runs once per instance and re-initialises inside the Elementor editor preview.
