Built with the EMCP Widget Builder and registered under the EMCP Custom category of the Elementor panel. Search the panel for: notification, bell, recent posts, toast, new, unread, updates.

Setup guide

  1. Open a page in Elementor, search the panel for Recent Posts Notification and drag it into a container.
  2. Content › Notification: Layout, Panel Title, Toast / Bar Label, Icon, Remember Seen Posts (unread badge), Show Thumbnails, Show Date, Show Excerpt and 11 more.
  3. Content › Query: Posts.
  4. Pick a Layout: Bell icon with dropdown, Floating toast (cycles posts), Top bar (latest post), Inline list. Each one is shown below.
  5. Style tab sections: Style. Colours, typography and spacing set here are scoped to this widget instance.
  6. Publish. Every option is a standard Elementor control, so it responds to the editor, dynamic tags and global styles as usual.
Posts is a live query (source: posts). A "Posts" panel with filters, ordering and count is generated for it; results come from this site's data on every page load.
Conditional options: Floating Position appears when Layout is toast; First Toast After (ms) appears when Layout is toast; Show Each For (ms) appears when Layout is toast; Gap Between Toasts (ms) appears when Layout is toast; Toast Only Unseen Posts appears when Layout is toast; Bar: Remember Dismissal (days) appears when Layout is bar.
This widget is fixed to the viewport (a corner button, a bar or a toast). On this page each demo is pinned inside its grey stage box so you can see it in place; on a real page it floats over the content. Scroll-driven options react to the scrolling of this page.
Ships with its own JavaScript; it runs once per instance and re-initialises inside the Elementor editor preview.
